How long have you been in business?
Foreign exchange brokering is a relatively new concept. The idea for Forex Commercial was formed in 1997, and the company started trading in 1999 so this is our seventh year of business. A personal dealer is assigned to you for better efficiency; guaranteed best exchange rate, we guarantee you will save money; emailed financial reports and exchange rates; forward contracts; margin trading; overnight ordering. How do you guarantee the best exchange rate?
We have the lowest overheads of any foreign exchange company in New Zealand, coupled with the volume we put through the banks, guarantees we get the best rate possible. Therefore we can pass on significant savings to companies and individuals looking to take advantage of Forex Commercial's service.

How do you make your money?
We take a couple of points off for importers, and add a couple of points for exporters from the rate we get from the banks. By passing that on to you guarantees you maximise the savings on your foreign exchange transactions. Exchange rates are provided to all clients on an equal volume basis to eliminate the shading system the banks use. Therefore a company with monthly volume under one million New Zealand Dollars can achieve exchange rates with Forex Commercial as if their volume was over one million New Zealand Dollars a month. This will result in significant savings to your company.

How do I know my money is safe?
Forex Commercial has a strong reputation with New Zealand's leading foreign exchange banks. We do not operate overdraft facilities or have loans or mortgages with any bank or lending institution. All accounts are run in credit and your payments to Forex Commercial are strictly to refund us for your foreign exchange order. Combine this with online settling systems and the international SWIFT system all deals are fully traceable and 100% safe.

How do we go about changing from our current Foreign Exchange provider?
All we need is the currency and amount you need to book then we can go and secure the rate for you. If you could send us the details of payment by email or fax, here, initially, we can enter them into our system (we can do it all over the phone if you prefer). Once we have loaded them the first time they will be kept on file for future ease so all you need to do is phone, email or fax the currency, amount and the beneficiary name - we can do the rest. You will need to set up Forex Commercial as a bill payment for a direct credit and we will return email or fax a confirmation receipt of your order within 15 minutes. If you then send a bill payment for the amount of the transaction everything will be complete.
